MJ, no more?

michael_jackson_lyrics_billie_jean

I was browsing the internet at 5.00 in the morning and came across a news article that said that Michael Jackson was dead. I was shocked. I mean, he was so young. I know life is uncertain and that death is always sudden. But Michael Jackson? It was one of the most cruel twists of fate. He was scheduled to perform a comeback tour next month in Britain which was touted to be the greatest comeback tour ever..! The fact that fate robbed him of his last opportunity of regaining his lost glory makes his demise even more painful.

I know it sounds selfish but I wish that MJ would have lived long enough to enthrall his fans one last time..! He certainly didn’t deserve to die in this ignominy and loneliness. For an MJ fan, his untimely death, just before his farewell concert is devastating. Words seem to elude me and I am groping for expressions that would describe my anguish for this loss. Life has been so unfair to him. And for all the horror that he had to endure courtesy the media and the relentless paparazzi, MJ deserves more than a post from an obscure blogger.

For me, It would take some time for me to come into terms with the fact that the King is no more and that he would not slide his shoes across the floor.. ever..!

MJJ

And now, as I relay this news to Mum at 6.00 AM, She is equally shocked..! She was an ardent MJ fan as well...

This may sound funny, but Micheal is the first singer that I can recall off from my childhood... when I heard about his death this morning, scenes of thriller just kept playing in my mind.... but somewhere in my heart... I feel Micheal needed some peace after all.

Puff Daddy said, "MJ made me believe in magic."
I actually had tears in my eyes.
Images or screaming girls, girls fainting after shaking hands with MJ flashed before my eyes.. There were artistes and there was MJ!!
And I just learned today that his name was in the Guinness book for supporting more charities than any entertainer or personality in the World...
A sad end for a troubled life.. :(

It isn't funny.. MJ is the first singer that even I can recall from my childhood.. "Beat it" was the song I heard perhaps when I was 4 or 5... :(
But yes, as you said.. he finds peace at last..

I disagree! He needded peace from the media and the nagging paparazzi. Which was something that he never really got! It's really pitiful- the way he met his early end.

True, he never got peace from the paparazzi and his end was pitiful.. I said that because I was pained by his troubled life.. we all listened gleefully to his music.. and look at the kind of philanthropy he was engaged in...!
He did so much to make the world a better place to live in .. and all we did was to call him a freak and a paedophile! He did so much for Humanity and all we did was to ostracise him and banish him into oblivion...!!

Naah, Nicol leads a mysterious life.. I don't even know where he lives.. though he has managed to squeeze out every last secret out of me..! :D :P

Did he really insist upon you reading it?! That brings the number of Nicol's nice gestures towards me to two!! :D
On a serious note though, I am flattered to be recommended by the Guru himself..! Thanks for your comment too.. :)
